About this aircraft
The Pilatus PC-24 is the Swiss manufacturer's first jet — and a quietly remarkable aircraft. Short-runway capability lets it operate from airports closed to every other jet in its class: Saanen (Gstaad), Lugano, Sion, La Môle (Saint-Tropez). The cargo door and flat floor accommodate ski equipment, bikes, even small motorbikes — invaluable for the Alps winter season. Swiss members specifically request the PC-24 for Sion and Samedan operations.

Zurich → St. Moritz (Samedan)
30min100 nm · Winter (Dec–Mar)
LSZS Samedan is Europe's highest-elevation airport (5,600 ft) — performance requirements limit the aircraft list significantly. Pilatus PC-24 is the Swiss member's choice; many heavy jets cannot land here.
Zurich → Courchevel
35min150 nm · Winter (Dec–Mar)
LFLJ Courchevel is the famous short-runway 'altiport' — only specifically rated pilots can land here, and only on certified VLJs. Most members instead fly to Chambéry (LFLB) and helicopter the last 15 minutes.
Zurich → Sion / Gstaad (Saanen)
30min100 nm · Winter (Dec–Mar)
Sion handles most jets; Saanen (Gstaad's airport) is restricted to short-runway-capable aircraft — Pilatus PC-24, HondaJet Elite. Geneva alternative on weather days.
Geneva → Saint-Tropez (La Môle, short-field)
50min300 nm · Summer (May–Sep)
The PC-24's short-field capability is the differentiator at La Môle — it lets us avoid a Nice-to-Saint-Tropez ground transfer (over an hour in summer traffic).
