Private Yacht Charter in Ibiza

Private Yacht Charter in Ibiza

A members' collective, not a charter agency. Fifty-four yachts across Ibiza, Marbella, Dubai and Miami — one Swiss desk, total discretion.

At a glance

Private yacht charter through Aurelius Society in Ibiza differs from retail charter in three ways: the fleet is owner-direct (no broker stack), the office is Swiss-based and handles the entire arrangement through one named contact, and membership is by introduction. The result is faster, more discreet, more flexible — and 10–15% cheaper than equivalent retail charter rates.

Private here means more than 'not shared with strangers' — every Aurelius charter is single-party. It means the booking is held in confidence by a single Swiss office, the captain knows the guest's name and preferences before the boat leaves the pontoon, and the photographs (if any) stay with the guest. No social-media tagging, no charter platform listings, no marketing use of guest data ever.

Members are introduced — typically by an existing member, a private banker, or a family office. Enquiries from prospective members are welcome through the office.

Questions we hear

Most-asked.

What does 'by introduction' mean for membership?+

It means new members typically come through an existing member, a private banker, a family office or a trusted personal introduction. It's not a closed shop — direct enquiries are welcome through the office, but the relationship begins with a conversation rather than a transaction.

Is my charter visible online or to anyone outside the office?+

No. Aurelius does not list members' charters on public platforms, does not publish photographs of guests, and does not retain charter data for marketing use. Crew, office and suppliers operate under NDA-standard discretion as a default.

How is private yacht charter different from retail charter?+

Three differences: (a) owner-direct rates save 10–15% versus retail broker pricing, (b) a single Swiss office handles the entire arrangement through one named contact rather than a routed agency desk, (c) the office holds standing-relationship reservations at marinas, beach clubs and concierge suppliers that retail charter rarely accesses.

Can the crew be briefed for specific preferences?+

Yes — and routinely is. The office sends the captain and stewardess a guest brief 7 days before the charter covering names, dietary requirements, drink preferences, allergies, children's needs and any special occasions. Nothing is asked at the table that hasn't already been planned for.

Are non-members able to charter?+

Yes — first charters as a prospective member are accepted on the same terms as members. The office uses the first charter to begin the relationship; future bookings move to member-only rates.

What size party works best for private charter?+

Two to twelve guests on a single yacht (the regulatory maximum). For larger private groups we arrange a second yacht alongside under the same office, with both crews briefed together.
