Day Yacht Charter in Ibiza

From a four-hour morning charter to the bucket-list Formentera day. Twelve dayboats, owner-direct rates.

At a glance

Day yacht charter in Ibiza means a single-day private booking, typically half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8–10 hours). Through Aurelius Society, the office offers twelve day-charter yachts ranging from 11-metre wide-beam dayboats to 19-metre sport flybridges. Half-day charters start around €2,500 all-in for eleven guests plus skipper; full-day Formentera crossings on a chef-equipped 15-metre run €6,000–€9,000.

Most first charters are day charters. They are the lowest-risk way to discover whether a yacht week is for you, and — done well — they are among the best days the island offers. The single best day is the Formentera crossing: out at 11, anchor at Espalmador over white sand by noon, lunch at Es Ministre, afternoon at Playa Illetes, slow return up the west coast of Ibiza, alongside by 19:00.

Twelve yachts in the fleet are configured primarily for day charter — dayboats (Cayman 540, De Antonio D36, Superhawk 40), sport boats (Vibe 49, Virtue 32, Frauscher 1212), and sport flybridges (Juliet 65). All include the skipper, basic provisioning, snorkel kit and paddle boards; chefs, DJs and tables ashore are added through the office.

Questions we hear

Most-asked.

How long is a half-day yacht charter in Ibiza?+

Four hours — typically 09:30–13:30 (morning charter) or 14:30–18:30 (afternoon charter). The morning option is the office's most-recommended: calmer sea, emptier coves, lunch at anchor before the day-boats arrive at the popular west-coast anchorages.

Can we reach Formentera in a single day from Ibiza?+

Yes — the standard Formentera day charter departs Marina Ibiza at 11, anchors at Espalmador by noon, lunches at Playa Illetes (or aboard at Cala Saona), and is back alongside by 19:00. The crossing is 45–60 minutes each way on a 15m+ yacht.

What's the latest a yacht can return to the marina?+

Marina Ibiza accepts arrivals until 01:30; standard day charters end by 19:00. For sundowner and party charters returning late, the office handles the marina late-arrival paperwork.

Is fuel included in a day yacht charter?+

Not in the base day rate. Fuel is calculated by actual consumption at the end of the charter — typically €400–€1,000 for a day depending on the boat, cruising speed and how far you travel. Estimates available before booking.

Can we add a chef to a day charter?+

Yes — €350–€600 per day for a private chef on board, plus the cost of the provisioning (typically €60–€90 per guest for a full menu). Tell us at booking and we shape a menu with the chef.

What if the weather is bad on the day?+

We confirm the day's charter at 19:00 the evening before based on the forecast. If conditions are unsafe or markedly uncomfortable, we reschedule for the next clear day at no charge.
