At a glance
Aurelius Society offers private yacht charter in Ibiza from a curated fleet of forty-four owner-direct vessels berthed at Marina Botafoc, Marina Ibiza and Ibiza Town. Charters run from half-day dayboats (4 hours, eleven guests, from around €2,500) to fully crewed superyachts (35 metres, weekly bookings, twelve guests, from around €60,000 base). The wider Aurelius fleet extends to Marbella (Puerto Banús), Dubai (Dubai Harbour) and Miami (South Florida + Bahamas); private aviation is arranged through the same Zürich office. Every charter includes the captain and crew, concierge support, anchorage planning and provisioning; fuel and chef are quoted separately.
Aurelius Society is a Swiss-based members' collective that places guests directly with the owners of forty-four yachts in Ibiza — and ten more in Marbella, Dubai and Miami when the season moves. There is no broker stack between the office and the vessel — rates are owner-direct, the captain is the same captain you'll meet on the pontoon, and the office in Zürich handles the entire arrangement through a single point of contact.
Charter formats run from a three-hour sundowner to a seven-night Balearic week. Every booking includes the full crew, concierge for restaurant reservations and transfers, and the office's standing relationships with the marinas, beach clubs and pastry shops we have used for years.
The fleet
The fleet — forty-four yachts in Ibiza, every hull personally vetted
35.0 mFriendship
12 guests + 6 crew
115ft Benetti — the flagship of the fleet. Refit in 2019, full-beam master suite, four further guest cabins, and a sundeck built for shaded dining at twelve. A crew of six runs the boat as a household: chef, two stewards, captain, two engineers. Built for weeks aboard, not days.
31.0 mDark Knight
12 guests + 4 crew
102ft Leopard with twin MTUs, 26 knots flat. Built for owners who'd rather arrive than cruise — Formentera in forty minutes, Mallorca before lunch. Twelve guests across five staterooms; a crew of four who've been aboard since the 2023 refit.
31.0 mLa Romana
12 guests + 4 crew
Sister hull to Dark Knight, refit 2024. Same Leopard 102 chassis, same twin MTUs — finished in warm teak and cream. Flybridge jacuzzi, foredeck sun pads, a tender lift that handles 4.2m. Quieter at speed than the original.
30.2 mLady KC
12 guests + 3 crew
99ft Maiora with zero-speed stabilisers — comfortable at anchor in any swell. Flybridge jacuzzi, sun beds, sound system, and a full provisioning package included: seabob, jet ski, paddleboards, drinks. The reliable choice for guests who value stillness over speed.
27.0 mAya One
12 guests + 3 crew
27m Leopard 90 — sport-yacht performance with a flybridge that runs the full length of the upper deck. 27 knots cruise on triple MTUs, three doubles plus a twin, full crew of three. The fastest hull in the larger fleet and the most generous toy package: two seabobs, two paddleboards, a jet ski.
19.8 mJuliet
10 guests
65ft Princess sport yacht. British build, teak cockpit, 28 knots without effort. The right boat for Formentera-and-back days with ten guests, three cabins below deck for those who stay overnight.

Questions we hear
Most-asked.
How much does it cost to charter a yacht in Ibiza?+
A half-day on a 13-metre dayboat starts around €2,500 (11 guests + skipper). A full day on a chef-equipped sport boat is €6,000–€9,000. A 30-metre flybridge is €8,000–€13,000 per day. A weekly superyacht charter ranges from €60,000 to €140,000+ base, plus APA of 25–35% for fuel, provisions and dockage. Owner-direct rates save 10–15% versus retail broker pricing.
Is fuel included in a yacht charter in Ibiza?+
On day charters, fuel is typically billed by actual consumption at the end of the day (€400–€1,500 depending on the vessel and cruising speed). On weekly charters, fuel is paid out of the APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) — a separate budget managed by the captain and settled with receipts.
Which marina do Aurelius charters depart from?+
Marina Botafoc and Marina Ibiza, both in Ibiza Town. Marina Botafoc is the office's preferred departure point for larger yachts — it's steps from the Old Town and the transfer routes from any villa on the island are direct.
How many guests can charter a single yacht?+
Maritime safety regulations cap each yacht at twelve guests, regardless of vessel size. For groups of 13+, the office arranges a second yacht alongside so the party sails together.
Are overnight charters available?+
Yes — yachts in the fleet with sleeping cabins (most over 18 metres) accept multi-night charters. The most-booked formats are two nights (one anchored), four nights (Pitiusas long weekend) and seven nights (the full week aboard).
How far in advance should I book?+
For July and August, four to six weeks ahead is comfortable; for specific yachts or peak weekends (e.g. Ushuaïa closing), three months is safer. May, June, September and October can usually be quoted within 7–14 days of the desired date.
Can the office arrange chefs, photographers, transfers, restaurant bookings?+
Yes — all of those, plus DJ booking, jet ski hire, helicopter transfers from Mallorca / Ibiza, beach club table reservations (Blue Marlin, Cala Bassa Beach Club, Juan y Andrea), private yoga teachers, and wedding/proposal arrangements. Single concierge, single invoice.
What's the reply time for an enquiry?+
Within the hour during working hours (09:00–23:00 CET). Enquiries received overnight are answered first thing the next morning. The office runs on a single Swiss desk — no call-centre routing.
