Balearic Loop — 4 days, 2 islands

Map shows Ibiza-side waypoints only. Mallorca and Cabrera lie east — full route detailed below.

Day 1 — Ibiza to Espalmador

Depart Marina Botafoc 10:00. Slow cruise south, lunch on board, arrive Espalmador 14:00. Anchor overnight in the channel between Espalmador island and Formentera. Sunset on board, dinner from the chef. Sleep at anchor.

Day 2 — Espalmador to Cabrera

Early start, 07:00 departure. Crossing the open water between Formentera and Mallorca takes 4–5 hours at 22 knots, longer on superyachts that cruise at 12–18 knots. Arrive Cabrera by 12:00. Lunch at anchor in the main bay, swim, walk ashore to the castle ruins. Overnight at Cabrera.

Day 3 — Cabrera to Mallorca cliffs

North along Mallorca's south coast — Cala Pi, Es Trenc, the dramatic cliff faces toward Cap Andritxol. Anchor near Cala Pi for lunch and a swim under the cliffs. Continue west to a quieter Mallorca anchorage for the evening.

Day 4 — Return via Formentera

Cross back to Formentera in the morning, last lunch at Illetes or on board, sunset at Cala Salada on the return route to Ibiza. Marina Botafoc by 21:30.

Which yachts handle this route

Any 30m+ yacht with the range: Friendship, Drift, Nova, Dark Knight, La Romana. Smaller yachts can do shorter versions — Ibiza to Formentera overnight, return next day.
