Multi-Generational Family Reunions Ibiza: Villa + Yacht Combined

A multi-generational reunion in Ibiza — grandparents, three or four adult children with their families, the full cousin set — is a different planning problem from a single-family week. Three sleep schedules. Two dietary preferences per branch. The kids want a yacht; the grandparents want a quiet pool. The week needs to give everyone a version of it.

The villa

Estate-format properties work best: three connected buildings, three pools, separate kitchens. The grandparents take the main house and the formal dining wing. The day shape

• Morning: grandparents at the villa pool; parents at the villa or yoga; kids on the yacht
• Lunch: villa dining for all, with the older group seated, kids on the terrace
• Afternoon: grandparents nap; parents on the yacht for the day's anchorage; older kids on jet skis or with watersports
• Evening: full family dinner at the villa (24 – 32 places), staff serves

The yacht

For a 14 – 22 guest reunion, the yacht serves the younger generation. A 15 – 20m sport boat works — twelve daytime guests at a time, rotated through the week so all family members get yacht days. Book the boat for 4 – 5 days of the 7-night week, not all seven.

The reunion dinner

One night during the week is the formal family dinner — typically the third or fourth evening. The chef sets a tasting menu; staff handles the long table; a photographer covers the night. The office books all of this at quote time.

The split for the kids

On a 22-guest reunion, kids ages 4 – 14 are a separate consideration. Standard setup: a nanny pair for the duration (booked through the office), separate kids' dinner at 18:30 each evening, a dedicated kids' lounge area in the villa, and a designated yacht morning twice in the week.
