Yacht Charter Ibiza for Wellness Retreats: The Quiet Week

·4 min read·Aurelius Society

Skip ahead — the office handles the rest

A wellness-structured week on a charter yacht looks unlike a standard charter from the outside in. The schedule is tighter; the meals lighter; the music quieter. Done well, it produces the most-loved week of a season — guests leave the boat at a different frequency than the one they boarded with.

The daily rhythm

  • 06:00 — yoga teacher arrives by tender; class on the swim platform, sea-facing
  • 07:30 — cold plunge off the swim platform; tea service
  • 08:30 — silent breakfast (the chef plates; guests do not speak during)
  • 10:00 — open swim, paddleboard, individual quiet
  • 12:30 — full breakfast and the day's briefing
  • 14:30 — single anchorage move (Tagomago, Es Vedrà, north coast)
  • 18:00 — second yoga or breath-work session
  • 20:00 — single-table dinner aboard, no music after 22:00

The teacher

We work with a rotation of three Ibiza-based teachers for residency weeks: one specialises in vinyasa, one in restorative + breath work, one in Iyengar. The teacher boards each morning by tender and stays for the practice — they do not live aboard.

The chef brief

A wellness brief is the chef's favourite — fish centred, vegetable forward, no heavy proteins, no dairy at breakfast, alcohol minimal (the office stocks a non-alcoholic cocktail list). Send the brief seven days ahead.

What to skip

  • Beach clubs (the rhythm doesn't survive a Sunset Ashram afternoon)
  • Long shore lunches (heavy meals break the evening yoga)
  • Late-night clubs (the 06:00 yoga doesn't happen)
  • Group sizes above eight (the silence doesn't hold)

The right boat

A flybridge in the 18 – 25m range with a quiet sound system (Sonos rather than Funktion-One), a flat swim platform, a chef trained in light cooking. Send us the dates at the enquiry desk and we shortlist.

The Office
