An Investor Dinner at Sea

Four to eight investors, three hours, one anchorage. The compression that closes rounds.

The investor dinner at sea is the most consequential business charter we run, by ROI. The setting compresses the deal — no one stays at the table for four hours on a boat without it meaning something. The founder, briefed properly by us, doesn't bring slides.

The format we recommend: four to eight investors, three hours from embarkation to disembarkation, one short forty-minute cruise to a sheltered anchorage, dinner served on the aft deck as the sun drops, a single round of digestifs at 22:00, alongside by 23:30.

The office handles

Quietly,
in the background.

  • 01A menu approved by the host the week before — no surprises at the table
  • 02A wine list of three reds, three whites, one champagne — chosen to pair with the menu, not to perform
  • 03A single bottle of the senior investor's preferred spirit on the side table, if we know it
  • 04Drivers from each investor's hotel or villa, walking them onto the pontoon at the same time as the host
  • 05Discreet branded napkins or place cards if the host wants them — almost never recommended
  • 06A printed seating plan in the host's cabin, in case anyone arrives late

Questions we hear

Most-asked.

Is total discretion guaranteed?+

Yes. The crew sign NDAs as standard for corporate charters; we never publish images of guests; the office handles all communication through a single email the host nominates.

Can a founder bring slides?+

We strongly recommend not. The yacht is the framing — slides break it. Most founders we host arrive with a single one-page deal summary on their phone and use it once between courses if asked.
