Inside Juliet 65: A 20m Flybridge Done Right

Skip ahead — the office handles the rest

Juliet 65 is a 20-metre flybridge — the mid-size that covers the ground between the sport boats (12 – 15m) and the larger flybridges (24 – 30m). She has a real salon, three cabins, a crew of two, and a flybridge that holds dinner for eight. She is the boat we send most often when six guests want a week aboard without the larger-yacht price.

Cabins

Master amidships with full ensuite, VIP forward with shower, one twin below. Sleeps six guests; eight is tight but works. Crew quarters aft — captain plus mate.

What makes her work

At 20m, Juliet sits in the sweet spot for two variables: she has the deck space for ten daytime guests but the running cost of a smaller boat. Fuel burn at cruise is 90 l/h, against 250+ for a 25m+ flybridge. APA budgets for a Juliet week run €10 – €14k against €20 – €30k for the larger boats.

What she carries

  • 3m Williams tender
  • 2 paddleboards, snorkel kits
  • Donut and one inflatable lounger
  • Built-in JBL sound through deck and salon

The right brief

Six to eight guests, three to five nights, want the flybridge experience without the larger yacht budget. Couples weeks, family groups with two children, small corporate offsites. Wrong brief: a group of twelve for a week (too tight) or a one-day party charter (overkill — send to Vibe 49 instead).
